For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved the ocean. We spent many days fishing and wake boarding in the intercoastal waterways of Florida. I often wonder what childhood might have been like if we were not involved in boating activities and sports. A lot of people think that buying a boat is extremely expensive and time-consuming. In reality there are thousands of boats for sale on the used market that are in reasonably good condition and can often be had for a tremendous discount. The boat that I spent many years on was not new but it sure felt that way to me and my family. Riding the waves in the sunshine with the wind in your hair creates a feeling of freedom that cannot be replicated any other way. If you have been thinking about getting a boat stop thinking about it and just do it already. The sooner you get out on the deep blue sea the happier you will be.
